There is much that goes into the preparation for this two year commitment like raising partners, figuring out job descriptions, monthly trainings, and much more. Here are some of the big rocks we will have to tackle as we go!
UK Exploratory Trip
Our trip confirmed the call we believe God has placed on our hearts and connected us with a local church.
Secure Housing in UK
We have now been given the green light that housing will be ready in time for us to move.
Visas
Fill out visa applications for both of us and wait until they are approved.
Fully Funded
Be fully funded in the financial goal we have set.
Complete Cross-Cultural Training
We have many trainings to help enrich our marriage, grow us cross-culturally, including a missionary assessment we will be doing.
Move to the UK
Sent from Rock Point Church to Mission Essex, for two years.
A nation of 70 million, and only around 3% are Christian.
The United Kingdom has been considered Post-Christian for some time now, and because multiple generations have not been raised in the church, many people there are now considered Pre-Christian: they have never heard the gospel, who Jesus is, or what it means to be Christian.
The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few. Pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers.
